I recommend smaller projects to start with.  Short stories.  Contest entries and made a short book.  In my case, this was “Glory Daze”.

You can find some of my short stories on Booksie.com or by googling my name. Most are contest entries which did not win. My latest on Booksie is getting a lot of reads – I quickly wrote it on the last day of the contest. Winners have not been announced yet. Check it out “AI President IT”. A couple summers ago our library had little booklets where you use a picture and write a short story which includes half a dozen keywords. I enjoyed doing that. Writing is a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Utilize your strengths and improve on your weaknesses.

I enjoyed going to the Book fair in the Detroit area a couple weeks back. Only sold a few books but learned a lot talking to the other authors. Singing off for now.

I am going to Hyde bookstore in town tomorrow for their Last Thursday event..basically to see what it is like . Meanwhile a couple of writers were chosen for ACPL podcast over the past couple monthes. My book was on a display at the library though last month.

Enjoyed meeting the other authors at their book reading at Hyde bookstores. They are booked until like Oct. so we will see if I hear from them. In the meantime I am confirmed for an author event at HalfPrice books in Ft Wayne on Aug 3 at 1. Bring your books to be signed or I will have some for sale/sign if you like. I met with the Orchard Ridge Barnes and Noble and will be doing an author event there November 23, 2024.

AUg 3 I am going to be at Half Price books.  The Taylor Writer’s Conf was very good.  I learned a lot..hope to be implementing some advertising soon.  I did add a Facebook page for my book Intervention.

Battled Upland road construction to get to Taylor University Writers Conf.  It was alot about marketing.  I have started some simple ads here and there with very limited success.

Now on BookBub and Goodreads and have done a couple Amazon ads with little success.  Have done a little on Book 2- Deception
